HOW DO I PAY ON MANIFOLD.XYZ AFTER I CLICKED MINT NOW?

To make you understand how you can make the procedure happen, we’ll use another NFT we have online for sale on the same platfom MANIFOLD.XYZ, so you see how easy it is. This screenshot shows you the NFT we are taking as an example:

You can see three NFTs, which are connected to the same initial contract, owned by Magictribe Media Ltd. When you hover over the contract autimatically it shows both NFTs:

Notice on the top, we have our Coinbase Wallet opened and ready to connect. The procedure is the same for both NFTs, once you click on the button BUY NOW, this will happen:

The Manifold (d)application will ask to connect with your Coinbase Wallet, conce you hit confirm. Now, you see there is also a warning notice “This app can withdraw all your USDC. Make sure you trust this site.” which is good:

  1. You don’t want to have excessive amounts of USDC on a centralized account, for one. There are hard wallets for this purpose…

  2. You want to make sure the app you connect with is trustworthy. If you are new to NFTs and crypto, and you were to doubt, please double check manifold.xyz and its solid reputation. We know it is one of the best around. Feel free to do check. Due dilligence is always smart. Once you are sure, you click on CONFIRM:

So, now the manifold application is giving a pop-up with the price it will cost you. The NFT itself costs 10 dollars, or 10 USDC, as that is the cryptocurrency in which you will have to pay.

IMPORTANT is to notice you are purchasing over the Optimism Network, the protocol or network which is being used to transfer the USDC, as well as the protocol or network on which the USDC is transported from your wallet to the wallet of Magictribe Media Ltd. In case of Coinbase, it does all of this automatically. If you use other wallets make sure you check Optimism.

It also shows the cost we have to pay from Magictribe Media Ltd. on our side: 5 dollar cent to make the transaction happen through manifold.xyz. Yet, then the cost on your side is $1.29, on top of the $10 cost of the SHILLING-NFT. In case of our membership NFT, you will have to pay $200 + the cost indicated (which will not every time be exactly $1.29, this depends, yet should be under 5$ normally.)

One other check you can do, is look on top and find “keys.coinbase.com/sign/eth-send-transaction” at least in case you are using a Coinbase Wallet. It is logical, because you are now working through your coinbase wallet to make the payment happen:

Once you have checked the price: $200 in case of our membership NFT, as well as a reasonable transaction cost and the network OPTIMISM, you can safely click CONFIRM. You may have to wait a very short while, after you have confirmed with your Coinbase Wallet. Then it guides you to this ‘check-out’ screen on the manifold purchasing page:

Notice it gives you the option to tweet the drop, meaning you can share our membership-page to your friends on twitter/X. You can subscribe on Magictribe Media’s new releases on the platform, via your email. Yet, you also have the option to see your individual Gold Magictribe.one Memebership on Opensea. Opensea is a platform for buying and selling NFTs. This implies it automatically also reveals your NFT on Opensea. This is also good. If you click on the little ‘round boat’ button, it takes you t/here:

You can see someone now can also make an offer on your membership. THIS IS THE GREAT THING ABOUT NFT-MEMBERSHIPS, AS YOU CAN RESELL THESE TO OTHERS… For now, that would make little sense, as long as there are still memberships on sale at +-$200 or +-200 euros. Notice, it mentions OPTIMISM in your browser on top, being the network your membership NFT is on. And. it also shows your wallet-ID as ‘owned by…’ If you go to your Coinbase Wallet now, in the section where you keep your NFTs, this has happened after you confirmed your purchase:

Of course, in our example here, we bought the Shilling-NFT. When you buy your membership-NFT, it will show the icon of your membership-NFT, click on the icon and you get the full details about the NFT:
